Comedy for the Climate

Where half-baked ideas become fully hilarious! This event is in partnership with Tree San Diego!

$25 tickets*
*All orders subject to a flat $3 transaction fee

A high-energy comedy variety show in partnership with Tree San Diego featuring stand-up, improv, and sketch, culminating in Half-Baked. During this game show-style improv battle, three performers turn a single “half-baked” prompt into fully improvised scenes. Fast, funny, and completely unpredictable.

MEET THE PERFORMERS!

Dad Skeleton – Dad Skeleton is a comedy collective based in San Diego from the minds of Jacob Rozansky and Paige Chadwick. With a carousel of incredible local actors and performers, they bring fresh, hilarious theatricality to their regular variety show at the White Family Next Stage. From giant cigarettes to spitting up blood, they use every element of the theater to deliver a memorable performance.
Taylor Spencer – Taylor Spencer is a Stand Up Comic and Improviser from San Diego, CA. Some of their favorite places they’ve performed are The Comedy Store, Flappers Comedy Club, and Mic Drop Comedy. In 2024, they were accepted and performed at the Burbank Comedy festival! They perform regularly on the House Team “Mission Slay” at Finest City Improv. Taylor produces the LGBTQIA+ variety show, Serving Laughs, here at New Village Arts! They are so excited to perform at this fundraiser 🙂
Half-Baked – Half-Baked is a hilarious game-style panel show from Zach Moser’s Cake Boy Comedy. A panel of improvisors take half-baked scene ideas and bring them to life in a hilarious game show, where the audience is the judge!
