About Niels Lund

Niels Lund is a San Diego–based singer-songwriter whose music blends reflective storytelling, acoustic folk traditions, and poetic lyricism. Over the course of a 35-year performing career throughout the United States and Canada, he has created music rooted in themes of love, longing, memory, and the natural world.

His latest album, Moments In Time, features original songs shaped by a lifetime of performance, reflection, and lived experience, combining acoustic guitar, piano, and layered vocal harmonies in an intimate folk style.

In addition to his original music, Lund performs Becoming Leonard Cohen, a heartfelt live tribute honoring the songs and poetry of Leonard Cohen. Through both his original compositions and tribute performances, Niels Lund continues to create music centered on connection, reflection, and timeless storytelling.
