Looking for a Great Venue in the heart of Carlsbad Village?

Since our recent renovation, the Dea Hurston New Village Arts Center has expanded to be a multi-faceted community space hosting a 100 seat theatre, full bar, multiple performance spaces, education spaces and so much more to host our community in whatever their needs may be! NVA has hosted a wide variety of events, such as weddings, corporate happy hours, staff retreats, community town halls, artist workshops and classes, fundraisers and much more.

WHITE FAMILY NEXT STAGE & LOBBY AREA

NVA has an entertainment liquor license, and can have our fully stocked bar staffed and open with a scheduled performance.

NVA has a list of preferred performers that we can schedule for your rental event that add an exciting component to your party!

SAHM FAMILY EDUCATION ROOM

Great for smaller meetings, day-long team retreats, workshops, and classes.

Capacity: Approx. 10-20

HAPPY TIMES BAR

Great for company happy hours, large scale meetings, birthday parties, community town halls and gatherings.

Happy Times Bar can be added to all events included in our Bar Packages.

CONRAD PREBYS THEATRE

NVA has a 100 seat theatre with a full technical setup available to be rented in between our Season productions. Great for weddings, or a short run performance.
