A world premiere hip hop musical experience
in lieu of flwrz: a hip hop musical is about the rise and fall of a romantic relationship between two Black women: Grace and Shay. The lovers contend with the death of their relationship after Shay after Shay cheats, and both are forced to wrestle with their sense of agency and accountability, especially in the context of generational cycles of abuse. The story is told through dance, and narrated by songs written and performed by Miki Vale.
