A curated and structured open mic/community showcase designed to highlight high-quality local musicians/creatives. This event will emphasize musical performance, spoken word/poetry, and visual art. Rather than a traditional open mic, performers, artists, and other creatives will submit to Amplified beforehand so we can curate a lineup of 10 acts that provide a good mix of North County SD’s local talent!

Amplified Studios is a music production studio owned and operated by musicians and engineers. Whether you want to learn, create, rehearse, record, or promote your music – we help artists navigate the music industry. Every artist deserves a community that amplifies their sound.
Founded by Bob Berman, the studio was originally created for him to jam and record with his musician friends. After some consideration, he decided to expand Amplified into a proper business with a tight-knit team, state-of-the-art equipment and programs, and an atmosphere fostering community and collaboration amongst artists.
