Perform on a Professional Stage
and Earn College Credit!

The NVA College Acting Apprenticeship is a production-based educational program designed for college-level actors. Selected students will have the opportunity to perform in New Village Arts’ professional season productions, earning college credit while working alongside seasoned artists. We are casting for leading, supporting and ensemble roles through this apprenticeship. We offer real-world experience that strengthens résumés, builds performance chops, and connects students with the professional theatre community!

This program exists to:

• Build a bridge between local colleges and the regional theatre scene.
• Provide transformational opportunities for emerging actors.
• Offer professional-level experience to students at no cost.
• Support academic pathways by helping students earn course credit through performance.

ACADEMIC CREDIT

To receive academic credit, it is the appliciant’s responsibility to coordinate this with their institution. NVA is happy to complete any necessary paperwork required by the appliciant’s institution. This is an unpaid educational opportunity designed to offer hands-on experience in exchange for college credit.
