Want to learn how to make a scene effective?

Whether you are new to acting or a seasoned performer, this class is designed to deepen your understanding of character study, the use of props, and so much more. Through a combination of guided exercises, scene work, and personalized feedback, you’ll learn how to connect with your character and engage your audience!

Join this 5-week scene study class and explore the different layers of building a scene utilizing the Uta Hagen method.

Feel free to bring water, comfortable shoes, and a notebook for any note-taking.

 

Get to Know the Instructor:

Marquita Hefflin-Tullis is an Actress/Producer/Director from Pittsburgh, PA. Marquita graduated from Slippery Rock University with her BA in Theatre and Spanish. She recently performed in Gwen Wright’s Rosetta and the Mount Calvary Missionary Club, which performed first at the Alleyway in Murrieta under Dir. Gregory Bach, and then at The Merc in Temecula under Director Carol Hernandez. Marquita also serves as the Theatre Technician for the ministry Artisans Workshop Experience (AWE) Studio G.
