Kristianne Kurner will utilize techniques learned at the Actors Studio Drama School for increasing sensory awareness. This class is great for actors looking for another way to find connection to character and self, as well as non-actors looking to get in touch with their senses. Participants will explore how sight, sound, taste, touch and smell can increase your experience of life: both onstage and off. All levels welcome!

About the Instructor:
Kristianne K.
Kristianne founded NVA in 2001. Trained as an actor and director, she has worked on every mainstage production at NVA, with her favorite acting role being John Wesley Powell in Men on Boats. Directing credits include: The Ferryman, American Hero, The Nutcracker, Much Ado About Nothing, The Trip to Bountiful and more. Her work has received numerous awards, including San Diego Theatre Critics Circle. Education: BFA Theatre, The College of William & Mary; MFA Acting, the Actors Studio/New School.
