Classical Ensemble “Not Just Lakme” presents “Wanderlust: a taste of songs, arias and duets from around the globe” 7pm May 30 at the Dea Hurston New Village Arts Center with Soprano Abla Lynn Hamza and Mezzo-Soprano Maria Caughey, accompanied by Dr. Yewon Lee. Hear music spanning the globe from Asia to Europe to the Americas including songs by Brahms, Amy Beach, Rossini, Heitor Villa-Lobos, among others. The evening will end with the beautiful and famous flower duet from the opera Lakmé by Léo Delibes!
