Desert Rock Garden
Sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts and California Civil Liberties
This touching play follows a young orphan and an older gardener and their experiences in the Topaz Relocation Center during World War II. Originally produced as part of our Final Draft New Play Festival in 2019, we are proud to feature Roy’s exciting voice on our stage. This reading is made possible thanks to a generous grant from the California Civil Liberties program, Randy Pabst and Kathy Hagenbach.
