New Village Arts Theatre in Carlsbad is one of the most respected non-profit theatres in North County known for its innovative and cutting edge work. In NVA’s summer acting program for teens 13-17, students will have the opportunity to learn new skills or refine their own methods with theatre professionals in a fun and effective way. Our program is designed to have the utmost flexibility and affordability for students and families while still providing professional quality training.

TEEN IMPROV WORKSHOP

Theatre develops great skills! Discover the fundamentals of improvisational skits, improve your storytelling skills, learn techniques to think quickly on your feet and to be more creative. Through vocal and physical warm ups, theater games, drama activities, and coaching, students will learn how to be more spontaneous, trusting and cooperative and how to listen in a fun, creative atmosphere Encourage your child’s creative self-expression and confidence! Taught by Lettie De Anda.
