ARTIST BIO

Educated at Arizona State University with a degree in fine arts, Lori traveled to San Miguel de Allende to attend the arts prpgram at the Instituto Allende.

Winning first place in an art competion at age nine further expanded Furcini's passion for the arts and led to experimentations with batik, printmaking, monotypes, oil painting and sculpture.

Her abstracts represent an interesting variety of surface treatments and she has been called a master of texture. Furcini enjoys painting the local environment since moving to California in 2009. Her work is on view at the New Village Arts and she can be reached at 480.570.2144.
