It’s 2020, days before a national election, and more houses of worship are under siege. La Jolla Synagogue’s Rabbi Joan contends with a visiting Rabbi from Prague who trumpets the arrival of a magical beast, a gigantic Golem to protect the community. Rabbi Joan cautions her congregation about putting their faith in Kabbalah black arts, as all await the arrival of the Golem.
